Moriarty Diesel was established in August of 2014 by Tyler and Sarah Moriarty. Tyler attended The Universal Technical Institute for diesel and graduated in 2008. From there on he worked at various dealerships and independent diesel shops until he decided to open his own shop. Tyler has over 16 years of experience as a diesel mechanic and is known locally for his knowledge of diesels. Sarah attended Monroe Community College and has a background in accounting. She left her job as a bookkeeper to help Tyler start the business. Tyler and Sarah were eager to open a diesel repair shop unlike any other in Rochester, New York. Here at Moriarty Diesel they have made it a priority to give every customer a fair price and a positive experience. Soon after they started the business Tyler and Sarah got married in August of 2015 and had their first child, Mason in July of 2017. They then had their second child, Emma on April Fools in 2021. Mason currently plans to become a diesel mechanic just like his father and Emma is already working on becoming the boss.
